UHM wants talks over dentists

The Union Haddiema Maqghudin is asking the Management and Personnel Office of the Office of the Prime Minister to continue to negotiate the collective agreement for dentists in government service.

The union wrote to the MPO after the latter failed to offer counter-proposals, as had been agreed during their last meeting in March.

The UHM said it had sent its proposals at the beginning of February.

In its letter to the MPO it said it would have to resort to industrial action if there were no developments.

The UHM said the collective agreement needed to be reviewed because the agreements relating to other categories had recently been changed, resulting in government dentists having inferior conditions.
