Police end search for missing boy
The police yesterday said they were no longer searching for five-year-old Yosef Bounad, who had been reported missing last week.
The boy's mother, Karen Bounad, of Gudja, had reported to Hamrun police that her estranged Libyan husband, Lounad, had failed to return the boy to her on Saturday.
Sources close to the police said the police believe the father has probably left Malta with the boy.
Ms Bounad said this was possible but she had not received any information from Malta or overseas.
