An 18-year-old boy was yesterday charged with raping two boys aged 14 and eight years.

Roderick Vassallo, 18, of Rabat pleaded not guilty to raping the boys and defiling them together with a nine-year-old girl at his house in Rabat last year.

He was also charged with holding the boys against their will, keeping or circulating pornography and offending public morals.

The case was heard behind closed doors.

Police Inspectors Louise Vella and Marthese Micallef prosecuted.

Dr Stefano Filletti appeared for the defendant.
