Industrial dispute at Maltapost

The Union Haddiema Maghqudin has declared an industrial dispute with Maltapost, after a number of workers did not get promoted.

The workers occupy the grade of postal operator, but have been carrying out the duties of administrators.

The UHM said these workers should be promoted as soon as there was a vacancy, as was the case at present. Instead, the management was offering them an allowance for the work they were doing.
