Tourism appeal board

Dr Manwel Mallia and Dr Clarence Busuttil have been appointed chairmen of the newly constituted board set up to hear appeals from decisions taken by the Malta Tourism Authority.

The other members are Mr Carm A. Fenech, Mr Joseph Messina, Mr Carmelo Sciberras, Mr Mark Spiteri, Mr Vincent Tabone, and Ms Veronica Zammit Tabona.

Tourism Minister Michael Refalo said that although the appeals board was constituted by a chairman and two members, he had advised in favour of the appointment of more than one chairman and two members for the eventuality when a chairman or a member could not hear appeals for a valid reason.
