Voluntary group Zghazagh Azzjoni Kattolika Mosta has completed a Lm40,000 project to lay artificial turf on the six-a-side football ground in Mosta, which forms part of the Qalb ta' Gesù Oratory.

The ground was officially inaugurated on Sunday by President Guido de Marco.

The work started four years ago, when the sand base was laid and a drainage system was installed for rainwater to be run off. The artificial turf was then put in place last month.

The ground is available for rent at Lm15 for a one-and-a-half hour session. Bookings may be made on 9947 2088.
