Diplomatic relations with Russia
The Russian ambassador Sergey Zotov has presented Foreign Minister Joe Borg with a letter from the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Igor Ivanov, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Malta and Russia.
In his letter, the Russian foreign minister expressed satisfaction with the state of relations between the two countries.
Dr Borg sent a letter to the foreign ministry in Moscow highlighting a number of key achievements in the relations.
