A clay pigeon shooting marathon in aid of the Dar tal-Providenza started yesterday at the Qormi Clay Shooting Club olympic range in Tal-Handaq.

Organised by the Paola hunters' association, Kaccaturi ta' Rahal Gdid u l-Hbieb, together with the Qormi Clay Shooting Club with the collaboration of the Kerygma Movement, the marathon will come to an end on Sunday at 2 p.m.

The 19th edition of the shooting marathon is being held as part of the Kerygma's campaign Solidarity Through Sports.

A total of 502 hunters had taken part in last year's marathon which raised Lm3,821.
