The blue FISEC Games flag, which flew from several masts for the past five days, was yesterday lowered for the last time after the Games came to a close. The closing ceremony was held at the Sol Suncrest Hotel during which Maria Mallia's FISEC Games 2002 song was performed. There was also the popular Ira Losco to entertain the numerous athletes from the visiting delegations and talks by Maltese officials Louis Borg and Bro. Martin Borg as well as FISEC Chairman Francisco Vigara. The evening was highlighted with a laser show and fireworks which lit the evening sky at Qawra. The 2003 FISEC Games will be held in Spain.
