Making Ira proud

We Maltese are well known for our generosity and we usually donate considerable amounts of money towards many good, diverse and deserving causes, both locally and abroad.

In view of this and the recent, unprecedented success achieved by Ira Losco which has made us all Maltese proud, I was wondering whether Ms Losco's organising committee could set up a serious, accountable fund where all her adult fans and admirers could contribute, say a minimum of Lm2, which would go towards the financing of a much needed promotional album and video and the possibility of ensuring that she would be backed by a serious, leading music company which would ideally provide her with the necessary kick-start she now needs to make it on the international music scene.

In this way we would be tangibly showing this young, unassuming, talented, seriously committed, rising star our gratitude and appreciation and helping her reach new, difficult but not impossible, heights.
