The second edition of An illustrated Guide to Prehistoric Gozo, by Professor Anthony Bonanno, was been published recently.

The guide is the third in the Gaulitana series of monographs on the history and heritage of Gozo.

The guide covers Gozo's 32 prehistoric sites. The sites vary in size and complexity, from single stones, such as the Tad-Dawwara menhir, to single-room structures, like the dolmens at Ta' Cenc and the megalithic complex of Ggantija. A short note on how to reach the sites precedes every entry.

There is also a description of the prehistoric settlement at Tac-Cawla, Victoria. Ample space is dedicated to the Gozo Stone Circle, the recently discovered prehistoric site, whose excavation the author was partly responsible for.
