If current security measures are not sufficient, then let's find ways of ensuring effective law enforcement. We can start by encouraging a change of mentality, such as that of the Home Affairs Ministry official who commented: "God forbid if we had to react to every case of rape."
One asks: what would his reaction have been if that one case involved his daughter? Yes, we should react to every case of rape and make sure that our reaction serves to deter rather than trivialise such abhorrent behaviour!
