A Rabat man was yesterday charged with the drug-related manslaughter of a 27-year-old man last Monday.

Robert Borg, 21, pleaded not guilty to the involuntary homicide of Brian Micallef in Mtahleb.

He was also charged with the possession and trafficking of heroin before July 2002.

Borg was remanded in custody.

Police Inspector Neil Harrison prosecuted.

Dr José Herrera, Dr Michael Sciriha and Dr Edward Zammit Lewis appeared for Borg.
