Over the last few weeks, the Gozo branch of the Malta Red Cross Society collected items for the refugees in Malta.

A truckload of clothing, disinfectants, toys and other miscellaneous items were recently delivered to the refugees.

The society thanked the Curia for helping with appeals, the local councils and parish priests for the initial collection of the items, Mr S. Buttigieg and Mr J. Grima for supplying a truck free of charge, and Gozo Channel for granting free transport to Malta.
