Final preparations are being made for this year's Malta International Jazz Festival, starting tomorrow at 8 p.m. and ending on Sunday.

The area at Ta' Liesse by Grand Harbour in Valletta is undergoing a radical transformation as the stage, together with all the sound and lighting equipment, are being moved in to support this year's edition of the festival.

Organised by the Department of Culture within the Ministry of Education and sponsored by Vodafone Malta Limited and Cisk Export, the Jazz Festival will give the public an opportunity to listen to some of the best exponents of jazz music in the world.

Air Malta, Le Meridien Phoenicia and Valletta Rehabilitation Project are part sponsoring the festival.
