Ball of the August Moon

The Ball of the August Moon will be held on August 3 at the Verdala Castle grounds, with all proceeds in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund.

The President and Mrs de Marco recently presided over the launching of the ball accompanied by the organising committee, which this year is being chaired by Baron Salvino Testaferrata Moroni Viani.

Patrons of the ball will be treated to a five-course gala dinner with live entertainment throughout the evening. All floral arrangements are being designed and prepared by Therese Sullivan together with her team of floral artistes.

Tickets for the ball, priced at Lm20, are on sale from the offices of the Malta Community Chest Fund at the Palace, Valletta, or may be booked on tel. 21240568.

Tony Cassar, on behalf of Marsovin, donated Lm5,000 as part sponsorship for the Ball of the August Moon. Marsovin are main sponsors of this year's event.
