Industrial action at special needs schools

Nurses working in special needs schools will, as from Monday, be following directives ordered by the Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses, as the union feels that it is not being consulted by the Education Division over changes to nurses' working conditions.

The nurses have been directed to do only emergency work, and not to accompany children outside the schools' premises during Skola Sajf.
