Poodle 'Darling' awaits its owner

Alfred Fenech, who runs the Association for Abandoned Animals from a base in Luqa, is trying to trace the owner of a poodle type bitch he named "Darling".

The animal appears to be domesticated and is very friendly.

Mr Fenech found the bitch inside a pastizzerija in Zabbar.

After learning that the animal was either lost or abandoned, Mr Fenech decided to take it to his sanctuary to wait for its owner to call. He intends to try to find the canine another home if he does not locate its owner within three days. The animal is about eight months old.
