Nadur playing field inaugurated

The prime minister recently inaugurated a garden, belvedere and playing field in Our Lady of Fatima Street, Nadur. The project is estimated to have cost Nadur council Lm80,000. The MTA contributed Lm9,000 to the project.

The inauguration was attended by MTA chairman John C. Grech, Nadur mayor Chris Said and archpriest Mgr Salv Muscat, who blessed the playing field which was designed by Architect Edward Xerri.

To mark the occasion several activities were organised by Nadur council. The Mnarja Band performed marches and the Body Art Dance Group performed to choreography by Angelo Bonello.
