De La Salle College had the best submissions overall in the poster competition organised to celebrate Kinnie's 50th anniversary with as a theme "Reflections of a great taste".

A special prize of a state-of-the-art personal computer was awarded to the school from which the winner of the first prize of each category emerged.

De La Salle College provided the winners for Category II and Category IV. Category III was won by a student from St Aloysius College.

A Lm1,000 prize fund was distributed among the winners of the four categories.

The competition attracted over 600 entries.

Submitted posters were classified into four different categories.

The first category was an open one and anyone could submit his or her artistic work. Categories II and III were for students under 10 and students aged between 11 and 16 respectively. The fourth category was for students with special needs.
