Action is being taken so that the remaining balance due to BICAL depositors may be settled as soon as possible, Finance Minister John Dalli said yesterday.

He was replying to a parliamentary question by Labour MP Evarist Bartolo who asked when the Lm3 million collected by the BICAL controller would be distributed.

Mr Dalli said he did not know where Mr Bartolo got his figure from, but it was far from reality.
