¤ Nadur's post feast outing (ix-xalata tal-festa) which will include ample food and drink, tombola, a party for youths and a performance by the Mnarja youth band, organised by Nadur council, is being held at the garden in Madonna Ta' Fatima Street, Nadur, today at 8 p.m.

Nadur council will also be organising an outing for the elderly, which will include tombola and dinner, on Thursday at 4.30 p.m.

¤ A fair, to raise funds for the titular feast of Our Lady of Loreto, organised by Ghajnsielem's Outdoor Feasts Committee, is being held at Mgarr harbour today at 5 p.m.

¤ Canada Day, organised by the Maltese Canadian Association, is being celebrated tomorrow. A short ceremony will be held at the Gozo Emigrants Memorial at Zewwieqa, Mgarr, at 9 a.m. A buffet dinner will also be held at the Mgarr Hotel at 7.30 p.m.

¤ Tombola, at Lm1.50 per person, is being held at Patri Mattew Sultana Primary School, Xaghra, on Tuesday at 7.30 p.m.

¤ To mark the feast of the Visitation at Gharb on Sunday, residents will greet a delegation from Gerano, Italy. Gharb's Folklore Group and the Amici della Musica Band from Gerano, will perform marches.

On Thursday, a twinning agreement between Gharb and Gerano will be signed on Gharb's main square at 8.30 p.m. followed by dinner.

On Friday, the Amici della Musica and the Precursor Bands will perform marches in the main streets of Gharb at 9.30 p.m.

On Saturday, a short procession carrying sacred relics, led by the Vicar General, Archdeacon Mgr Giovanni Bosco Gauci, will be held at 6.30 p.m. It will be followed by marches, performed by the Leone and St Joseph Bands at 9.30 p.m. A fireworks display will be held at midnight.

¤ Marija omm u ghajnuna taghna, a play written by Fr Louis Bezzina and directed by Carmel and Sandra Camilleri, will be staged at Kercem parish church on Wednesday at 8 p.m.

¤ An evening of music, with the participation of Ira Losco and Friends, Miriam Christine Borg, Joe Demicoli, Renato, Claudette Pace, Fabrizio Faniello and Keith and Adonelle Dancers, organised by Leo Productions, is being held at Villa Rundle, Victoria, on Wednesday at 8.30 p.m. Tickets at Lm2.50 and Lm1 for children may be obtained from the Leone Band lotto office, Republic Street, Victoria.

¤ Anglican Mass, celebrated by Senior Chaplain Fr Alan Woods, will be held at the Sacred Heart Seminary Chapel, Enrico Mizzi Street, Victoria, on Wednesday at 11 a.m.

¤ An outing to Malta, which will include a visit to the Trade Fair and Bugibba, organised by the Cathedral Parish, is being held on Friday. Transport leaves Savina Square at 4 p.m. with the ferry leaving Cirkewwa at 11.30 p.m. Tickets at Lm2.50 may be obtained from George Debono (tel: 2155-1460) or Coney Island Bar (2155-1289).

¤ An information meeting, for those interested in doing voluntary or missionary work in poor countries, is being held at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Seminary, Victoria on Saturday at 4.30 p.m.

¤ Jum Kercem will be celebrated on Saturday. Several activities will take place at 7 p.m.
