Malta's representation in other EU agencies

Apart from official EU institutions, there are also several structures or agencies which were set up by EU law with functions in specific areas or on specific issues. As an EU country, Malta would be represented in these EU agencies in accordance with their existing rules.

These agencies include, the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training, the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions, the European Environment Agency, the European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products, the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (trademarks and designs), the European Training Foundation, the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addication, the Community Plant Variety Office, the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, the Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union, the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia, the European Agency for Reconstruction, the European Food Safety Authority, the European Air Safety Agency and the European Maritime Safety Agency.
