Fined for threatening inspector

A man was yesterday fined Lm30 for threatening a police inspector in Bugibba on Wednesday.

Joseph Compagno, 19, was also charged with disobeying Inspector Joseph Mercieca and breaching the peace at about 8 p.m. He pleaded guilty.
