A man was yesterday charged with holding an 11-year-old girl against her will and raping her.

He was also charged with defiling two girls, one 11 and the other 12.

Magistrate Joseph Apap Bologna ordered a ban on the publication of the names and details of the case.

The man was remanded in custody.

Police Inspector Louise Vella prosecuted.

Dr José Herrera appeared for the defendant.
