The assembly of the Diocesan Synod meets again tomorrow to discuss a revised version of its document on the laity.

A total of eight documents were revised as a result of feedback from the assembly, which are now being presented to the assembly for reconsideration. The aim is to review all eight by November, 2002, the Curia said in a statement yesterday.

Where possible they will be approved by the Synod, and then passed on to the Archbishop, Mgr Joseph Mercieca for his approval.

The final documents will be used as guidelines for the Church's pastoral work in Malta.
