St Petersburg ballet to perform in Malta

The Style Ballet Company from St Petersburg is giving a number of performances in Malta during the first week of July.

The show, White Nights in St Petersburg, presents 12 female and male dancers from the famous St Petersburg Ballet School, a live orchestra with a singer, and two top notch artists from the world famous Russian Circus.

The dancers study a modern repertoire of dance as well as classical ballet and are as at home with jazz, funk and tango as they are with the classical pas-de-deux from Swan Lake.

The high quality of their show is ensured by producer Helena Belyaeva and choreographer Nikolai Pesterev.

The programme for their first performances in Malta includes an entertaining medley from international musicals like Cabaret, Moulin Rouge and Chorovob.

Performances will take place during the first week of July at The Dolmen and The Hilton, with both hotels laying on a four-course meal that will focus on Russian delicacies.
