On Wednesday, Chinese Education Minister Chen Zili and Dr Galea signed a document for a scholarship programme, which would also establish relations between high educational institutions.

Dr Galea proposed the teaching of Prof. Edward de Bono's Creative Thinking Skills in Chinese schools.

It was agreed that international conferences on the Chinese and Mediterranean civilisations should be organised in Malta.
