Spain coach Jose Antonio Camacho insisted yesterday that injured striker Raul would only play in their World Cup quarter-final clash against South Korea tomorrow if he was fully fit.

Spanish team doctor Genaro Borras said earlier this week that when the stakes were high it might be worth taking a slight risk of fielding a player who is less than fit.

But Camacho was forthright about Raul, who was taken off with a groin injury in Spain's second-round match against Ireland. The Real Madrid player has not trained with the rest of the side since.

"If he (Raul) says he's 100 per cent, and the doctor says he's 100 per cent, he will play. If not, he won't, like the rest," Camacho told journalists at the team's training ground.
