Man killed in boat accident

A young man died in a boat accident in Gnejna Bay last night, police said.

Initial reports said the man must have been thrown off the dinghy he was in when it hit the rocks or a buoy, and he hit his head to a hard object.

The accident took place at about 10.30 p.m.

Police said another man in the dinghy was unhurt.
