Mr John Francis Cogan, the new ambassadaor of Ireland to Malta, and Michal Radlicki, the new ambassador of Poland, presented their diplomatic credentials to President Guido de Marco yesterday.

Mr Cogan was appointed ambassador to Iran in 1993 and later minister plenipotentiary at the EU in Brussels.

Mr Radlicki is a former director-general of the Polish foreign ministry. He was appointed ambassador to Italy last year.
