The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has entered into an agreement with Daphne Caruana Galizia as proprietor of Proximus PR for the company to design and implement in collaboration with the ministry's staff, a communication strategy aimed at raising awareness of Malta overseas and raising awareness of Malta's foreign policy both locally and abroad.

The agreement, valid for a year from June 1, was tabled in parliament yesterday by Foreign Minister Joe Borg in reply to a parliamentary question by Labour MP Evarist Bartolo.

In terms of the agreement the firm is to provide the ministry with at least 430 hours of consultancy services by its senior consultants. The remuneration will be of Lm12,990, exclusive of VAT.
