Scouts clean Vittoriosa bastions

Forty-five Venture Scouts and Rover Scouts got together recently at Vittoriosa to help the local council clean the bastions.

The event was organised by John Micallef Engerer and Edward Vella, both commissioners for Ventures and Rovers respectively.

The Scout Association has organised this event for the past five years.

Present on the day were scouts from the Cospicua, Naxxar, Pembroke, St Augustine, Sta Venera, Stella Maris College and Zejtun Scout groups.

The scouts cleaned up the Couvre Porte, St John`s Cavalier, the Main Gate and the French Curtain by abseiling down these locations.
