The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries is holding a course in Fisheries Science for Mediterranean Countries, starting on October 1.

The two-year course is being held through the Fisheries Conservation and Control Division in collaboration with the University of Plymouth, UK, COPEMED (FAO) and Edexcel (UK).

It will lead to a Higher National Diploma in Fisheries Science.

The course is open to students from Malta and Mediterranean countries.

More information and application forms may be obtained from the Fisheries Conservation and Control Division, Malta Centre for Fisheries Sciences, Fort San Lucjan, Marsaxlokk as from Monday, from 8.30 a.m. to noon, Mondays to Fridays.

Completed application forms should be submitted by August 8.
