School pool marathon

Lorenzo Gafa Boys` Secondary School of Il-Fortini, Vittoriosa, is again organising the annual 51-hour pool marathon in aid of Caritas.

It will be held in the school hall between tomorrow and Sunday on the theme `Help Cottonera Help`.

The marathon, which will be the fourth, will include a competition. Fourteen students aged 11-15 will take part in this competition. Every game will take one hour and the participants will follow a roster for the entire 51 hours of the marathon. The final will be played on Sunday at 6.30 p.m.

A total of Lm1,500 was collected in last year`s marathon.

This year`s will coincide with the activities organised by the school to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
