Just over 70 people aged between 17 and 21 will this summer be working for the Island Hotels Group within the different hotels of the group and Island Caterers.

Over 200 youths attended the recent open day organised at the group`s flagship, the Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort, held specifically to recruit part-time employees for the summer period. The jobs on offer are mainly related to food service positions, pool boys and junior kitchen positions.

A total of five days of training will be given to each individual who is employed, although the length of service would only be expected to be of a temporary nature and cover only a 10-week period.
