The Science Popularisation Programme within the Malta Council for Science and Technology and Cospicua local council are staging three days of activities to make science more popular.
Activities will be held until Friday at Domus Sagra Familja, Cospicua, aimed at students and the public.
The parliamentary secretary in the Ministry of Education, Jesmond Mugliett, officially inaugurated the event yesterday.
The public will be able to experiment with technology encountered in day-to-day life, whereas students will have the opportunity to try out theories they learn in class.
The activities are being provided by the Malta Drydocks, Enemalta Corporation, Institute of Water Technology within the Water Services Corporation, Raymond Balzan, De La Salle College, Erin Serracino Inglott Girls Secondary School, Guzeppi Despott Junior Lyceum, and Lorenzo GafáBoys Secondary School.
Mornings are reserved for school visits, whereas the public is welcome between 6 and 8 p.m
