The Department of Information has recruited four new information officers as part of a restructuring process currently in progress at the department. University graduates are among the new recruits.

Director of Information Emanuel Abela said the DOI had invested heavily in information technology in recent years.

Having strengthened its workforce, he said the department lost no time in proceeding to embark on new projects, such as the restructuring of the department`s website, which is to include a news service.
