Talks between the General Workers` Union and Bank of Valletta over a collective agreement for the industrial grades are set to resume after a walk-out by the union`s delegation last week.

The GWU said agreement for a resumption of the talks was reached at a conciliation meeting chaired by the Director of Industrial Relations.

The bank had bound itself to improve its proposals, including those about financial provisions, the union said.
