Woman injured in crash
A 58-year-old woman from Swieqi was slightly injured yesterday in a collision in Mikiel Anton Vassalli Street, Swieqi.
The collision took place at the traffic lights. It involved a Maruti, driven by the woman, travelling towards St Andrew`s and an Opel, driven by a 23-year-old man from Pembroke, travelling towards St Julian`s.
Although the woman was only slightly injured, she was trapped in her vehicle and needed the assistance of the Civil Protection Department. She has been hospitalised.
