Appeal to hunters
The Parliamentary Secretary in the Home Affairs Ministry, George Pullicino, has welcomed a statement by the Federazzjoni tal-Kaccaturi u Nassaba Konservazzjonisti following the killing last week of a substantial number of protected birds of prey in danger of extinction.
Mr Pullicino said the secretariat appreciated the strong position taken by the federation against hunters who committed abuses.
He appealed to hunters to listen to what their federation was saying and observe the law so that their hobby would remain sustainable.
