Angie Bugeja, of Gzira, has won the Miss Belle Gambe - Malta title and Amanda Chapel from Pietà has won the Miss Mare Malta title, and will now represent Malta in the Miss Mare International competition being held in Sicily in August.
They will be competing against more than 50 international contestants from all over the world.
Catwalk Productions International organised the recent annual local pageant Miss Mare International 2002 - Malta, in which 31 contestants took part.
This year`s event was combined with The Miss Challenger and Miss KIA Motors 2002 contests.
The show was compered by Patrick Vella and the choreography was by young fashion designer Fiona Maria Vella who also launched a new children`s collection.
