Sports festival

The Movement in favour of Rights for Persons with a Disability congratulates all the persons involved in the organisation of the sports festival held at De La Salle College on April 23.

The main aim was to give students with a disability the opportunity to take part and to benefit from sports activities. Students attending special schools together with some other students from other state schools took part in this educational event.

This activity was a clear example of good planning and cooperation between one and all. We also take the opportunity to thank the respective authorities who, by attending this sports festival, gave their encouragement and appreciation for all the work involved.

On behalf of the parents of the students with a disability who attend special schools, the movement thanks the department of education and appreciates the fact that these parents were also invited to this activity.
