Anthony Abela, 43, of Gzira, was yesterday imprisoned for 13 months by Magistrate Jacqueline Padovani Grima after he admitted to charges of theft to the detriment of Emanuel Degabriele of Balzan.

Abela pleaded guilty to theft of over Lm100, causing damage to property and receiving stolen goods.

He was also found guilty of relapsing.

Inspector Simon Galea prosecuted.
