Woman, 70, attacked
A 70-year-old woman from Siggiewi was slightly injured yesterday at 3.30 p.m. when two men got out of a black car and attacked her as she left her home in Qajjiet Lane, snatching her bag.
The police said the unknown assailants got away with Lm30 in cash and some documents, after knocking the woman to the ground.
She was treated at the health centre in Qormi. Investigations are in the hands of the Criminal Investigation Department and the Qormi district police.
