The British Culture Association is holding an evening of poetry and nostalgia in the Music Room of St James Centre for Creativity in Valletta on May 9 at 7 p.m.

A panel consisting of Joe Friggieri, Clare Thake, Patricia Camilleri and Paul Xuereb will be reading or reciting poems learned in their youth and still dear to them.

They will also be commenting on the significance of each poem and on any association it may have with particular people or places.

There will also be plenty of time for members of the audience to read or recite poems they have long loved.
