Gozo tourism discussed

The Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association will be forwarding a number of suggestions to the authorities following recent meetings it held with the Gozo minister, the Gozo Tourism Association and with Gozitan members of the MHRA,

The delegation from the association, led by its president Anthony Chircop, discussed problems affecting the tourism industry and the specific problems which Gozo faced in this regard.

Points raised included better promotion of Gozo as a tourist centre, improving the means of accessibility by tourists to Gozo, and the further development of niche markets.
