The marine rescue team of Nature Trust is carrying out a post mortem on the carcase of a dolphin found on Tuesday, to determine its cause of death.

The dolphin was an adult male bottlenose (Tursiops truncatus) and was about 3.09m in length. The carcase was found floating in the bay at Little Armier and then was taken ashore for examination by the rescue team.
