Archbishop Joseph Mercieca is in Rome to take part in the 10th European Bishops Symposium which is discussing youth and faith until Sunday.

The symposium opened yesterday.

More than 150 participants - including about 100 bishops - are taking part in the symposium, which was organised by the Conference Council of European Bishops.

Also attending is Mr Anthony Gatt, the Maltese delegate to the Bishop`s Conference.
