A Qormi man was yesterday given a six-month jail term suspended for a year for seriously injuring a man at a Paceville club last Sunday.

Marvin Falzon, 22, pleaded guilty to injuring Matthew Muscat, hurling hard objects at people and breaching the peace at Havana Club at about 4 a.m.

Police Inspector Martin Sammut prosecuted.
